January 2012 - Get ready for the new Acer Aspire One D270 netbook which features the new Intel Atom processor! It's 10.1-inch, Atom 1.60GHz dual core processor (N2600) and will have a 320GB hard drive. These new netbooks in 2012 will have a HDMI port and they will have much improved video and graphic ability. It's about time we say! More details coming.

June 19, 2010 - The Acer netbook know as the Acer Asprire One Happy or Acer Happy netbook for short is coming to North America. If you recall, the Acer netbook Happy didn't make it to North America. So the Acer Aspire One Happy 2 is coming and yes, they are coming in those multiple fun pastel type colors. If you want a pink netbook, or pinkish color, Acer Happy netbooks may be for you.

Here is the new 2011 Acer logo. Fresh logo and fresh Acer netbook computers? We hope so. You may have heard of the Acer Aspire One Happy, which comes in some nice colors including pink. Oddly enough it's only available in Europe and there is no information about when or if the Acer Aspire One will be coming to North America. I say it would be nice to get the Acer netbook because we need more pink netbook selection in North America!

Acer netbook computers now are available with either Intel Atom processors or you can get them with AMD Fusion processors. The Acer Aspire One 522 is a new 10 inch netbook from Acer that has an HD display and have the AMD graphics processing. In other words, the 522 Acer Netbook is different than most netbooks. The only drawback to the video processing power is that it reduces battery life a bit faster. It's still good, but improved graphics ultimately lower battery life.

In 2011, the Acer netbook lineup includes some premium netbook offerings in the 11.6 in size. These Acer Aspire One models are a cheap price which is an expectation most consumers have with Acer netbooks. The best 11.6 netbook from Acer is the upcoming Acer Aspire One 722. It comes with 1 GHz AMD C-50 dual core processor and the ATI Radeon HD 6250.

Beware of the Acer Aspire One netbooks because often times they come with a single mono speaker. Yuck! So you should consider whether one mono speaker is fine with you or not. Perhaps you will use headphones or portable speakers and that mono sound won't be an issue. But just be aware of what you are buying before you buy it.
