In general, compared to 2010, if you're looking to buy a pink netbook your options are limited. For example, if you're looking to get a pink Asus netbook, you're going to have better luck in the USA than in most other countries. Asus were supposed to release the Sirocco Edition netbook which comes in pink, however we haven't seen it released widely and right now in late 2011, we aren't seeing stock of that netbook. It would appear that the current best option is the pink pastel colored Acer netbook which is the Acer "Happy" models. It's strawberry, so it's not exactly a profound pink color. The other manufacturers have certainly dialed back their pink netbook options. We're still hoping that Asus comes out with a wider release of the Eee PC 1015PW. July 2011 - Asus a while back talked about a new lineup of Asus Eee PC models named Sirocco Edition. These have a textured lid and nice color selection. One of those colors is pink! We haven't noticed these shipping in the USA or North America initially, but Amazon.com have just started showing stock. As far as we are concerned, this Asus 1015PW pink netbook is about the best option on the market. We are fans of the Asus netbook line up and for overall build quality, it's tough to beat a pink 1015PW. You can read more about this Asus pink netbook on the official Asus website. Just in case you're looking for the new Toshiba NB300 aka NB305, you won't find it in pink. They don't make it in pink at all. Sorry to inform you! There should be some new get pink netbooks hitting the market this year. Samsung tend to have great colors and Dell are the pink netbook masters. We want to profile one of the most elegant and fancy pink netbooks on the market today.
June 3, 2011 - Well you are in luck for pink netbook computers over then next while. The Acer netbook, titled Acer Happy 2 are coming to North America this type. They call it Stawberry, but it looks a lot like a pink netbook. Not the brightest pink, but hopefully we can find some more accurate photos for you.
In addition to a cheap Acer netbook coming in two weeks, Asus netbook models in the pink color are coming in later 2011. So this is great news if you want the newest netbook but in the pink netbook color. More details coming up!
